FWSU is located in beautiful Franklin County, Vermont. We serve Fairfax, Fletcher, and Georgia communities, providing quality public education to 2,000 students attending Bellows Free Academy Fairfax, Georgia Elementary & Middle School, and Fletcher Elementary School. Our schools are governed by local school boards. Each board also appoints three of its members to serve on the FWSU Board of Directors. Our Mission: Leading and facilitating educational excellence.
