For DJJ youth, the process of learning has often been a negative experience. Their attitudes toward learning often reflect a low priority in the value of an education. They view schooling as an obligation that provides few rewards. As Georgia’s 181st school district, DJJ strives to create new positive experiences in education so that our youth will realize that education provides a key to a positive future.
