Proviso Area Exceptional Child

PAEC is committed to providing well researched, quality staff development that is incorporated into the range of programs and services being implemented throughout the Cooperative. PAEC is currently providing early scientifically,research based interventions for at risk students in general education and quality special education programs and services to students identified with special needs. A priority focus for the school year is for PAEC to ensure that families be fully involved in their child’s Individualized Education planning. PAEC Teams will facilitate this process by developing clearly defined priority student goals/objectives, providing information on interventions being implemented and accurate assessment data reflecting student progress. Information will be communicated in clear and concise language so that all members of the team understand and are able to participate in the components of the plan. We are very proud of our quality multidisciplinary staff that provide essential programs and services to students with special needs.
