NSSED will establish and maintain the standard of excellence for the delivery of programming and services for students with disabilities based on current, state-of-the-art research and practice related to curriculum and instruction. The standard of excellence will be established by using a process of research, implementation, and train-and-coach. NSSED will establish and maintain the standard of excellence using school, family and community partnerships to ensure that the student outcomes are realized in educational and non-educational settings currently and in the future.
