Midland High School recognizes that its mission is to provide a well-articulated comprehensive program that has high expectation of students. We believe that, in addition to basic skills, we need to provide a safe atmosphere where students can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. We believe we must encourage students to be life-long learners who can adjust to the new and different work-based skills that are found in an ever-changing technological society. We share responsibility with parents and the community to help students in developing a sense of respect for themselves and others, and an understanding of the differences between rights, privileges, and responsibilities inherent in a free society.
