River Forest Community Sch Corp

River Forest Community School Corporation is located in Northwest Indiana near the junction of I-65 and I-80/94 in Hobart, Indiana.  It is 35 miles southeast of Chicago and 5 miles from Lake Michigan.  The district is composed of 2 K – 5 elementary schools, 1 K – 6 elementary school, and the newly renovated junior-senior high school complex.  River Forest Jr. Sr. High School was recently awarded the bronze metal recognition from U.S. News and World Report Magazine for its educational achievements.  River Forest Community School Corporation’s schools are all fully accredited by the North Central Accreditation Association.  It is a school district rich in tradition dating back to 1959, and River Forest is proud of its diverse student population and community.  We strive to work hard to be the best we can be and to graduate students of fine character to achieve each person’s own level of success.  We are proud of our students, parents, community, and staff.  We invite you to be a part of our River Forest family.
