Classrooms EC-12 are air conditioned. The city of Norton (population 3,500) is located in Northwest Kansas, between Denver and Kansas City, at the intersection of U.S. Highways 36 and 283; Interstates 70 and 80 are each just one hour away. Norton is an area trade center with excellent medical services, recreational and shopping facilities. USD 211 operates three attendance centers, all located within the city limits; Eisenhower Elementary School, Norton Junior High School, and Norton Community High School. The Junior and Senior High Schools share a campus, lunchroom facilities, and media center.
