Community Day Charter Public School

The Community Group: Is a multi-program organization that provides employment and professional advancement opportunities for a diverse workforce of more than 250 employees. Provides state-licensed and nationally accredited early education and child care programs for more than 1,000 children each year. Established and managed child care centers for a variety of organizations, including a clothing manufacturer, a private preparatory school, and a district court. Trains over 2,000 educators annually in workshops, conferences and college courses. Was the first organization in Massachusetts to develop training, professional development, and college courses in Spanish for Spanish-speaking child care workers. Assisted renowned pediatrician Dr. T. Berry Brazelton with the production of parent training videos. Was a founding member of the Massachusetts Association of Day Care Agencies and the Massachusetts Charter Public School Association. Manages child care subsidies for over 7,000 youngsters in the North Shore/ Merrimack Valley. Employs a full time data analyst. Has been featured on the Today Show and ABC Evening News as well as Inflight News on American Airlines.
