As Michigan’s first premier, tuition-free, public charter school, we concentrate our energy and resources on helping students’ master rigorous Michigan standards which have resulted in a steady improvement in test scores, a marked reduction in the achievement gap, and a good school rating .The Academy sits next to the Historic Ste. Anne Church in Southwest Detroit. The surrounding community has undergone major development over the past several years, making for a safe environment conducive to learning.
