Carney-Nadeau Public Schools

MISSION -The Carney-Nadeau Public School is committed to excellence for all students. We believe that the school must provide a safe and orderly environment in which learning can occur. Through partnership of school and community, we will form a positive attitude toward education. We will strive to educate all students and to instill the basic skills that lead to intellectual, social, emotional, physical and cultural development.Carney-Nadeau Public School wishes to remind community members that it will have two open positions on its School Board by year's end.  As such, we would very much like to encourage any interested, eligible, and civic-minded persons to run for either position in the upcoming November elections.  In accordance with Menominee County electoral rules, a Board candidate would need to submit a petition containing 6-20 signatures of registered, in district voters as well as an official "Affidavit of Identity" to the Menominee County Clerk's office by no later than August 13.  For your convenience, the petition and affidavit forms are  available in the school office and may be picked up anytime between 8 am and 3 pm Monday-Thursday.  Please feel free to contact Principal Adam Cocco by email, (acocco@cnps.k12.mi.us) or by phone, (639-2171) should you have any questions or comments regarding this matter
