Our district aspires to meet the challenge of our strategic plan by measuring how well we are serving our members. One important measure is the extent to which districts declare satisfaction with the value and effectiveness of specialized services we deliver to them. In order to do this, we must know what each district needs from us specifically so that we can tailor our programs, services and responses. This is the purpose of our Conditions of Satisfaction (COS) tool. Last spring we asked every member district to complete a COS form in three areas: business services, special education and general education. This tool asks them to state what conditions we would have to meet for them to declare they are satisfied with our work. Now it is time to take these forms back to each district’s lead contact in Business Services, Special Education and Teaching and Learning so they can “mark our report card,” so to speak. They can rank us on a scale of 1 – 4 for each statement of a condition of satisfaction they told us was important to them: 1 being Unsatisfied, and 4 being Very Satisfied.
