CEDAR RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY SCHOOL

We are fortunate to draw most of our students from the Cedar Riverside Plaza complex. We also have many students that are bused from surrounding north and south communities. Our primary population consists of East African students with a small minority of Hispanic and Asian students – with most of these children being 2nd generation Americans. Our small class sizes assist in maintaining academic excellence, preparing our students for a successful high school career and lifelong learning. We’ve begun to focus on experiential learning, giving our students, mostly coming from immigrant and financially struggling families, life experiences such as snow tubing, college visits, attendance of professional sports games, etc.
