Imagine waking up every day knowing that life is on your side.
Target Population We opened the school to those least likely to be served or wanted in other programs. The Minnesota Internship Center Charter High School serves learners between the ages of 16 to 21, and a limited number of adults.
History The Minnesota Internship Center Charter High School concept expands on 15 years of success with job and career internships for young people at the SHAPE Internship Center (in Bloomington) and NYC’s City As School.
We capitalize on the unique resources of the city and other Minneapolis community organizations. The SHAPE Internship Center was created with McKnight funds, and gradually absorbed into SHAPE’s alternative school.
