Location: US Highway 65; 80 miles south of Des Moines, Iowa, 5 miles south of the Iowa line, and 8 miles north of Princeton, Missouri. Economics: agricultural based economy; industries include Premium Standard Farms and the Union Pacific Railroad. Student Population: around 216 students in Pre-school through 12th grade. All students attend school in the same building. Teaching Staff: 25 teachers and two administrators. The student/teacher ratio is 12.5 students per teacher. Special Services: include one Title I teacher, two Special Education teachers, one Media Specialist, one Speech Therapist, and an At-Risk Program Course Offerrings: 51.5 credits are available per year on the class schedule including 42 hours of college credit through dual enrollment.
