SWEET SPRINGS R-VII

The Sweet Springs School District services approximately 430 students over 100 square miles in Saline, Johnson, and Pettis Counties. The school district has 80 employees, 50 certified and 30 classified. Extracurricular offerings include football, volleyball, track, basketball, baseball, softball, and a variety of clubs and student organizations. We are fully accredited by the Missouri Department of Secondary and Elementary Education. The city of Sweet Springs has about 1600 people and is primarily supported through an agrarian economy. We are located on Interstate 70, directly between Kansas City and Columbia, Missouri. Our Mission To provide an educational environment which will encourage students to realize their potential and to serve as a resource for the community in promoting lifelong learning experiences.
