Profile & Mission-The Gilford Schools make up a public school system supported by the community of Gilford, New Hampshire. Our schools provide educational services for 1250 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district is comprised of a grade K-4 elementary school, grade 5 - 8 middle school and grade 9 - 12 high school. Students from the neighboring community of Gilmanton also attend our high school. School district services and the Superintendent of School’s offices are located at 2 Belknap Mountain Road.Our district and its staff have earned an outstanding reputation for offering quality programs and an education to students of all ages and abilities. Gilford High School has been accredited by the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. Mission-The mission of the Gilford School District, in partnership with the community, is to actively engage all students in a broad range of educational opportunities that enables them to make responsible choices and succeed throughout life in a changing society.
