NYC AUTISM CHARTER SCHOOL EAST HARLEM

The mission of the NYCA Charter School is to provide individualized, scientifically-based educational services to children with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. The school promotes the achievement of high educational standards and the full intellectual, social, physical, and emotional potential of each of its students. It extends its educational programming beyond the school’s walls through training, consultation, and support for students’ families. The school also offers ongoing professional development opportunities to its staff, as well as to other educators in New York City and the surrounding area.
