Maritime Academy of Toledo The

The mission of The Maritime Academy is to provide cadets an individualized, standards-based, Grade 5-12, education that integrates a nautical/maritime-focused curriculum and environment, the Marazon Approach, and Ohio’s performance standards as well as Ohio’s first Marine Career Technical Education Program that fully equips cadets for maritime employment and service academy appointments upon graduation. The Maritime Academy enables each cadet to pursue academic excellence and develop positive character traits in an educational environment that supports hands-on, life-based learning, and character formation in a safe, healthy learning environment that supports the needs and interests of each individual cadet.
