The district shall maintain a coordinated , valid and reliable data-driven K-12 program designed to improve student achievement, support students’ academic growth beyond proficiency in the knowledge and skills of the student’s current grade level, encourage their attainment of individual goals and successfully prepare students to function effectively in a rapidly changing world and for the futures they choose to pursue. The district will work with staff, parents and community members to develop district goals that support the physical and cognitive growth and development of students. Goals will be adopted by the Board consistent with the goals adopted by the State Board of Education. Goals will be reviewed at least annually and revised as needed.
