The WDP-LLPCS Mission is to promote dynamic Partnerships that allow administrators, social workers, parents, teachers, and students the educational and social options and techniques relevant to social growth and academic excellence. The Walter D. Palmer Leadership Learning Partners Charter School’s objectives include higher standardized test scores, steady improvement in the quality of performance-based assessments, improved student attendance, higher academic achievement, superior teacher training; as well as enhanced motivation, satisfaction, morale and LEADERSHIP development on the part of students, teachers, administration, board, support staff, parents, and community members. The school day provides more instructional time than in the traditional public school over the K-12 sequences. Increased learning time allows for greater mastery of curriculum content and for increased exposure to engaging enrichment programs that develop the whole student.
