Bear Creek Community Charter School is the first and only free public charter school operating in Luzerne County. Since our opening in 2004 with 98 students, we have grown to an enrollment near the maximum capacity of 430 students. Our Mission is to embrace a diverse student body and inspire student success through an innovative curriculum, the cultivation of environmental stewardship, and by holding students, parents, and staff accountable for results.
