The Elk Lake School District and the Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center facility is unique because the school structure is a single centralized semi-two story facility all on one compound, totaling 285,384 square feet which equals 6.55 acres. Included is: kindergarten through 12th grade, and the Career & Technology Center which consists of seven diverse vocational training shops and accommodates students from neighboring school districts. We also host a Luzerne County Community College Satellite Program. In addition, we have a community park, pavilion and swimming pool, which are all available for use by the public. It is accurate to state that a student can attend kindergarten through 2 years of vocational training/college all under one roof at Elk Lake School District.
