Greenville Area SD

The Greenville Area School District houses a population of 12,500. This includes Greenville Borough and the townships of Hempfield and Sugar Grove. We believe every child is a candidate for greatness, therefore our mission is to equip all students with knowledge, competencies, and desire to face thechallenges necessary to achieve fulfillment in a global society. With strong overall academic programs, many graduates of Greenville High School are accepted at highly competitive colleges and universities. 76% of our students go on to a 2 or 4-year program of higher education. Thiel Scholars Program enrolls qualified juniors and seniors in accelerated courses for college credit in recognition of the efforts in education made by the district.
