Northwest Area SD

Northwest Area School District encompasses the Borough of Shickshinny, Union Township, Huntington Township, Hunlock Township, Fairmount Township, and New Columbus Borough. The School District is a combination of small town charm and beautiful rolling countryside making it a wholesome environment to raise children. The Northwest Area School District is an extension of the community we serve. The staff works diligently to improve student achievement by providing an education that meets the needs of individual students through differentiating classroom instruction and preparing students for the world of work or the world of college.
