We are proud of Blackville-Hilda Public Schools (Barnwell #19) and the progress we are making. Our focus on student achievement (academic excellence) includes a year- long emphasis on Rigor, Relevance and Relationships. We are monitoring our curriculum closely and ensuring that teachers and students have the necessary resources needed to exceed expected levels of teaching and learning. Students will not only learn information but be aware of the reason for gaining new knowledge and how to use what they have learned. Every person in our school district is important and valued. Each of us has a role in the education process. The relationships and bonds we build, nurture and sustain will help us work together for successful outcomes.
