ALPHA CHARTER SCHOOL

Alpha Academy began doing busines as Alpha Charter in 2001 to serve students and families in Garland and surrounding areas. Through the vision of the Superintendent and founder, Dr. Charles York and the late Mrs. Wilma York, Alpha opened it's doors on the notion that ALL students can succeed with structure, direction, nuture, and intruisic will. Alpha Charter motivates empowers students with the tools and skills neccessary to become strong, productive members in society. Through rigorous academics, character building, and parent involvement Alpha Charter School will "soar above expectations".
