MEYERPARK CHARTER

MeyerPark Elementary was established in 1993 as a private elementary school offering a unique hands-on curriculum to young children.In 2004 we became a public elementary school by becoming an accredited open enrollment charter school. MeyerPark offers a positive school climate with small classes that focus strongly on "Developing Young Minds" from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Our school has grown to house a fine arts program that performs monthly multicultural programs. MeyerPark has participated in the state Positive Behavior Support Initiative since 2005. This initiative teaches students how to be accountable for their own behavior and rewards positive behavior. MeyerPark Elementary Charter School has many things to offer students. We are proud to provide a quality education in a supportive and loving setting. We have an extremely dedicated board of directors and amazing home and school community members. Because of our sponsors and the many people who support our school, we are able to offer an outstanding education for students. Our Mission Statement: To establish a contract with the existing community through dedication to higher academic and social standards. Removing the ceiling on achievement to the students of this community and adopting a "sky's the limit" attitude to all students will encourage them to think beyond the typical community role model. Self-motivation, self-monitoring, healthy connections with qualified teachers as mentors, and development of belief systems that include success and achievement will prepare each child for the future.
