CRANDALL ISD

Crandall Independent School District (CISD) is a growing rural school district located 23 miles southeast of Dallas along Highway 175. It includes 84.9 square miles and more than 2,800 students and over 250 employees. CISD is fully accredited (PK – 12) by the Texas Education Agency and the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities. In cooperation with parents, business leaders, and community members, the District shall provide a quality education for all students in a way that: 1. Provides a diversified curriculum involving problem-solving and technological advances to maximize learning opportunities. 2. Develops students' self-esteem, individual motivation, and personal responsibility/accountability. 3. Encourages a positive environment. The desired outcome is one in which every student shall be equipped for life-long learning, responsible citizenship, and productive employment in an ever-changing society.
