DEVERS ISD

Devers is located on Highway 90, about 10 miles east of Liberty, Texas and about 28 miles west of Beaumont. We offer classes from Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. It is the mission of the District to provide an environment that will enable all students to learn. All District personnel will nurture each student so each student may be empowered with a positive selfimage and desire to be a life-long learner. To achieve this goal, the District will provide a flexible curriculum of English, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, fine arts, health, physical education, and computer literacy. The curriculum will be taught in an environment that will promote citizenship and develop an appreciation of our common American heritage, including its multicultural richness. Multisensory teaching strategies will be used so that students of all learning styles will be addressed and given the opportunity to achieve academic success.The District believes that education does make a difference in the lives of its students.
