Maud ISD is a strong, vibrant school located 18 miles west of Texarkana on Highway 8, in the southwest part of Bowie County. It is nestled in the piney woods of Northeast Texas, just 5 miles from the wonderful fishing area, Lake Wright Patman. Maud has all the advantages of being a small community and is minutes from the shopping areas of Texarkana and New Boston. The district has an enrollment of approximately 500 students in grades PK-12 housed on one main campus location. The professional staff works closely with students to encourage the development personal skills and behavioral patterns necessary to become a responsible members of society. The sincerity and familiarity between the students and staff creates a personal and relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to become involved in Maud Schools.
