NEW HOME ISD

MISSION STATEMENT: New Home ISD will strive for a well-balanced curriculum, good communication, cooperation, and understanding throughout our educational program that will assist each student in the development of essential academic skills and acquisition of a knowledge base on which to build lifelong learning. All students will be taught a core curriculum of English language arts, math, science, social studies, fine arts, health, physical education, and technological literacy. Students will acquire a knowledge of citizenship and economic responsibilities and an appreciation of the American heritage. Students will be provided the opportunities to develop the ability to think logically and independently and to communicate effectively. The staff that will accomplish this mission must be characterized by quality, equity, and accountability. Educational opportunities and resources will be distributed with equality for all students. The program will maintain accountability, demonstrated results, and continuous improvement. As a committee, we will try to accomplish our goals so that the education of our children will be the finest in the state.
