Quinlan ISD is a 3A school district located in North Central Texas in the town of Quinlan, between Greenville and Terrell on SH34. QISD covers an area of 152 square miles in southern Hunt County and is the gateway to beautiful 37,600 acre Lake Tawakoni. Interstate Highway 20 and 30 provide quick, easy access to the Dallas metro area. Our student population is approximately 2,500 . Our mascot is the panther. Our school colors are white and blue. The mission of the Quinlan Independent School District is to ensure that all children have access to a quality education that enables them to achieve their full potential and fully participate now and in the future in the social, economic, and educational opportunities of our state and nation.
