The Round Top-Carmine ISD provides quality education to approximately 240 students enrolled in PreKindergarten through twelfth grades. Round Top-Carmine ISD is fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency offering a comprehensive curriculum. . Some of the Round Top-Carmine students with special needs receive services from the Giddings Special Service Cooperative. An accelerated curriculum, that includes academics and vocational training, is offered to students in the district at the secondary level. Junior and senior high school students participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities under the University Interscholastic League. The athletic competition for boys and girls includes cross-country track, volleyball, basketball, baseball, track, golf, and tennis. Other organizations of student involvement are Beta Club, Future Farmers of America, Family, Community, and Career Leaders of America, One Act Play, and Student Council. The mission of the Round Top-Carmine Independent School District states its dedication to providing all of its children with educational programs that maximize their individual strengths while helping them to overcome any environmental disparities they may experience and thereby allowing them to develop their full intellectual, physical, and social potentials in a way that: 1.
