Piute District

Piute School District first started in 1870 with 90 students in three districts, Bullion City, Marysvale and Circleville. Since that time we have consolidated all the smaller districts and at present enroll 370 students ranging from Preschool to 12th grade. The district serves Marysvale, Junction, Circleville, Kingston, Antimony, Angle, Greenwich Koosharem and Burrville. Piute has two Pre K - 6th grade schools located in Marysvale and Circleville with the Middle/High school located in Junction. Most students are bused to school. U.S. News and World Report has ranked Piute High School as one of 13 bronze medal school from Utah in the nation. KSL Channel 5 has released its findings among Utah public school and Piute High School has the #1 math program in Utah and where raked in the Top 10 in the state in most other subjects. We offer college courses to Juniors and Seniors who qualify giving them the opportunity to graduate from high school with an associate degree. Piute School District is excited about the construction of a new addition and remodeling of our Middle/High School. This will provide our students the ability to keep updated with the newest technology that is needed in today's world.
