Center for Autism - Since 1981 the Center has provided quality programming for students with Autism. The program provides: A highly structured and supportive educational environment; Caring staff trained to meet the unique needs of students with Autism; Individualized education plans to address communication skills, functional academics, Virginia SOLs, positive behavior management, and social skills development based on student needs; Appropriate services to insure student success in the least restrictive environment. Newport Academy - Since 1980 Newport Academy has provided quality programming for students with emotional disabilities. The program provides: A highly structured and supportive educational environment; Caring staff trained to meet the unique needs of students with emotional disabilities; Individualized education plans to address Virginia SOLs, functional academics, positive behavior management, and social skills development based on student needs; Appropriate services to insure student success in the least restrictive environment.
