Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWIT) was founded in 1949 and offers affordable professional and technical training for today's job market. Training is available in 44 programs, with more than 100 professional/technical degree and certificate options in: Information Technology, Business & Service, Health & Fitness, Manufacturing & Transportation Technologies, Arts, Language & Science. LWIT is one of 34 community and technical two-year institutions of higher education in Washington state. The college currently has over 250 experienced faculty members and serves more than 4,000 students every year. We are centrally located in Washington state's high tech corridor, with a main campus in Kirkland and a branch campus near Marymoor Park in Redmond. The college features small class sizes, modern equipment and hands-on training that simulates an actual job environment.
